The weather on Phuket can be divided into three different periods: the dry season from November till April, the rainy season from June till September and the changing months May and October.
Many people have the wrong idea with 'rainy season'. This does not mean it will rain every day for the whole day. It could happen that once in a while it rains for a full day, but normally we experience isolated (heavy) rain or thunder showers, especially at the end of the afternoon or in the evening/night. Diving is possible year round!

The weather on Phuket is quite often very localised; while it is raining in Patong the sun can be shining in Kata.
