Racha Yai

Racha Yai Island is also spelled (Koh) Raya Yai or (Koh) Raja Yai, but this really is the same island! Racha Yai is the biggest of the Racha Islands and located about one and a half hours sailing to the South of Phuket, with eight different divesites spread alongside the island. This is an excellent location for both the experienced and the not yet so experienced diver, and also a good divesite for training dives.

The whole island is surrounded by a beautiful coralreef with a great variety in marine life. Many hard corals, moray eels, nudibranches, rays, barracuda schools and also octopus.
Maximum depth 30 meter, quite often we dive here till about 18 meters. Year round good visibility, around 20 meters. Because of the sheltered bays also an excellent place for snorkelers, so ideal for a combined trip with divers and snorkelers. On the Eastside, where we dive mainly from June till October, we normally make relaxed driftdives.

2,900 Baht for 2 dives (every day of the week),
3,500 Baht for 3 dives (wednesday, thursday and sunday)
3,800 Baht for 3 dives (tuesday, friday and saturday),
3,900 Baht for 3 dives (monday).
