Koh Phi Phi
The Phi Phi Islands offer on the water surface lovely views: colossal jade green rocks rise from the surface till heights of over 500 meters.
Under water these rocks have shaped an irregular, very interesting sea bottom for divers, and the elements have carved caves and overhangs in the soft limestone.
The two best divesites here are Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai, where under water we find vertical walls starting at the surface and running down till over 25 meters deep. On these walls in every crack and crevice we find a great diversity on soft corals, fan corals, black corals and whipcorals. Also the fishlife is varied with besides the usual reeffish often also seahorses, blacktipsharks, whitetip sharks and leopardsharks.
The islands offer shelter, which makes these divesites also good training sites. There can be a moderate-strong current, but rarely really strong. The visibility varies day by day but will often be around fifteen meters. The divedepth is 25 meters maximum, but it is very well possible to dive Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai shallower and have lovely dives. Sailing to Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai takes about 2 hours 30 minutes by diveboat.

9,900 Baht for 7 dives (overnight trip, monday-tuesday and friday-saturday)
