Koh Doc Mai
Koh Doc Mai or Koh Dok Mai, Flower Island in English, is a small, densely covered island about midway between Phuket and the Shark Point area. This divesite is often dived as the final dive of the day after two dives at Shark Point, Anemone Reef or King Cruiser.
Tree quarters of the divesites is a walldive, starting at the water surface and running down till 28 meters. In this wall are two caves to discover; in the cracks and crevices you will find an enormous amount of sealife and on the wall big fancorals and gorgonias. On the Westside the divesite becomes in steps more shallow till it reaches the surface.
We see lots of small life at Koh Doc Mai like small moray eels, different shrimp species, lobster, seahorses, frogfish, etc. On occasion a leopardshark comes and visits the site.
There can be a strong current, the visibility varies day by day but will usually be around 10-15 meters. The divedepth at Koh Dok Mai is maximum 28 meters.
3,400 Baht for 3 dives (every day of the week),
5,250 Baht for 4 dives (sunday).
